DNA: genomic Insert lengths(kb): 9.0 Gene product: DNA Segment, single copy, expressed [D21S13] Alleles: A1, A2, E1, E2, A1, A2, E1, E2 |
Comments |
D21S13 contains a CpG island. The insert contains SmaI (2), PvuII (4), BssHII (2), SacII (1), NotI (1), and CfoI (1) sites. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--8.5, 4.0; HindIII--13.0; PstI--4.9, 2.4, 1.7, 1.35, 0.88, 0.68; BamHI--4.0 (doublet), 2.9, 0.88; SalI--13.0. An 8.4 kb EcoRI fragment contains a methylation-free HTF (HpaII tiny fragment) island and the following restriction sites: ApaI (1), BssHII (2), SacII (2), NotI (1), XbaI (1), and KpnI (1). Isolated from the chromosome 22 library of R. Krumlauf et al. |
